are religious instead of relational
self-righteous instead of humble
apologizes without changing their behavior
avoids facing their own issues.
flatter you instead of talking to you.
demand trust; lie
Unsafe people do not grow.

Characteristics of Safe People
Draws you closer to God.
Draws you closer to other people.
Help you become the real person God created us to be.
Abides with you in a manner that is connected, and empathic.
Show much grace. (you are not shamed)
Walk in — and speak—truth
Confronts in a loving manner (peacemaker)
Go the next step of reconciliation
Earn trust; trustworthy
